Walt is a passionate and consumate blogger always writing to inform and educate us islanders in the Northern Marianas and the Pacific region, which he calls home. Where others call us paradise, we call ours home just as Walt does. We are privileged to have Walt as one of our fellow islanders here in the NMI. Good luck and all the best Walt. Si Yu’us ma’asi’.

Following his passion is what allows Walt to consistently inspire us. A vicarious pleasure streams our way, as Walt wends his way in regions where almost no Jamaican has ever been.
Congratulations on your nomination Walt Goodridge.

Jamaican in China blog is one of very few blogs that I enjoy reading regularly, as well as sharing same with friends. You will find no other blog as exciting, insightful, inspiring, visually stimulating, informative, and replete with valuable street-smart advice and sage-like wisdom, not to mention the humor. Thank you Walt for showing others how much fun life can be!

    Walt is Awesome!!

Walt the family at Old Grumpy Radio (www.OldGrumpyRadio.com) appreciate your efforts to share the freedom that possibility brings to a persons life. I love how your writing and speaking comes from the space of a kindred soul with love distinct from those who speak as if they are all-knowing and their mission is to bestow their great knowledge upon you.

Quiet Storm host of Ruut KonxShunz (www.RuutKonxShunz.com) says you are one of the most dynamic and thoughtful men of our era and the work you do will create a world of peace and prosperity by leading the way to a new paradigm for the creation of wealth and self-sufficiency!

The Universe is looking at you Walt and the universe is smiling because your actions prove there are Angels of earth.

Thanks for Blessing the World with your soul!!

    Peace, Love, Passion,

    Go Walt Go!!

    You Can Imagine!

Imagination never runs out. Go ahead and use it freely, for the more you make use of it, the more you’ll have. Every experience gives you more substance on which to base your imagination. And whatever you imagine provides you with possibilities for even more beautiful experiences.

Don’t limit yourself to merely imagining what is reasonable. Though reason certainly has its place, it quickly grows stale without fresh infusions of free and untamed imagination.

You can imagine anything, so make positive and meaningful use of your powerful imagination. You can imagine anything, so imagine your way to a life of joy and fulfillment.

Your imagination is truly a powerful skill, and yet once you imagine that is not the end of it. For not only can you imagine, you can take whatever you imagine and find a way to bring it to life.

Let yourself imagine the best you can imagine. Imagine a world so beautiful and compelling that you cannot help but do all that’s in your power to make it real.

Your friends here at Old Grumpy Radio and Old Grumpy Radio New York are imagining you crossing the winning line to victory.

Kenneth Young host of the KY Show wants everyone to hear your interview and they will hear why we are imaging the best for you because it supports all of us in manifesting our desires. Folks can check out your interview daily at 7pm EST on Old Grumpy New York (www.OldGrumpyNewYork.com) all this week starting Sunday January 8th through Saturday January 15th

Quiet Storm host of Ruut KonxShunz is imagining your interview on her show which starts airing this Thursday January 13th 3:30pm CST on Old Grumpy Radio (www,OldGrumpyRadio.com) will leave people imagining and imaging victory as they do the work to manifest their dreams of Freedom!!

    Old Grumpy Broadcasting Network
“A World of Peace and Prosperity One Listener at a Time”

yep walt….you’re doing great in so many areas…keep up the good work and positive thoughts….you bring success to us and we send back you spiritually and emotionally tenfold…have a great 2011….Saipan

  42. Thanks for that great post, Ronnie! Yes, it was great doing the interviews for your two radio shows! I’ll mention and link to them in my Monday Mentals Newsletter! With all the nomadpreneuring I’ve been doing, I haven’t done any interviews in a long time. If I do say so, it was one of the better ones I’ve done. You brought out my best! :-)

And speaking of imagination, life in general is a playground for imagination and contest of WILL. Check out this special secret post explaining why a vote for me is a vote for YOUR self, YOUR will and the power of YOUR imagination! Really! http://www.jamaicaninchina.com/bolt.html

And thanks so much, everyone, for all the support!

  43. January 9, 2011

    Hi there Walt!

Yes I concur with you regarding the use of the WILL. I think over that last few years, perhaps a decade now, this word has gotten some bad press in many so-called self-help books as something to avoid or not think too deeply about.

In the end it is our WILL that can make all the difference for us…and others as well.

Fare ye’ well my friend. You remain an inspiration for many. Hmmm, a life well lived I’d say.

Of Jamaican descent June Jordan says it well in “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for,” echoed by Alice Walker in her essay/book, the Sweet Honey on the Rock ensemble in a song, and of course, by Obama in his presidential campaign ’08.

Walt is taking his journey and blogging us abreast of his ‘tao’, perhaps, so that we might reflectively do likewise in our own treks and travels of our chosen landscapes and mindscapes, if only in our own private diaries and journals.

Walt, the winning is in having won already the hearts and attention of your colleagues and acquaintances. And if pattern of contemplative depth cum sense of humor is replicated, so much the better. We won’t mind tipping over to the Blog Awards as icing on the cake.

Big up mi bredren Walt! A blaka three times fi di don of Jamaican blogging!

Walt my brother, che’lu, friend, sibling in intellect and fellow seeker of overstanding in the universe. This here has your name all over it! You’ve earned it my friend! It’s really been far too long and I thank you for keeping me up to speed on your travels and wellbeing after all these years since you last visited us in Saipan and Guam!

    Respect!

  50. January 10, 2011

    I know Walt.
I don’t know the other writers (blogs).
Wouldn’t be fair to just cast my vote without at least checking the others out.
Some potential in all of them but, Walt’s is already there.
Looks and substance – he’s got both.
If you’re wondering what’s possible in life (regardless if you’re Jamacan or otherwise) follow his story.

Love the Blog, the unique experiences are as intresting as the words used to describe the experiences. This writer can write, using words like an artist uses a paint brush to paint a picture. The words used make it easy to paint a picture.
